Anyone have a teacake Recipe ?

Hello,
Just wondered if anyone has a recipe for teacakes that I could make in the breadmaker (on dough cycle), I have had a search around the forum - but I can't seem to see one previously posted. OH and daughter love them !

280 mls (10 fld ozs) milk
450 grms (1 lb ) white bread flour
40 gms 1 (1/2 ozs ) caster sugar
40 gms (1 1/2 ozs) lard or butter
5 ml (1 tsp) easy blend yeast
50 gms (2 ozs) currants
50 gms (2 ozs) sultanas
milk for gazing
from 'Bread Machine Cook Book'I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
1 1/2 teaspoons fast action dried yeast
16oz strong flour
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt (or less)
2 tablespoons dried milk
2 tablespoons margarine
10 fl oz water
4oz dried fruit -place in dispenser (Panasonic) or add at raisin beep
Set on raisin dough setting
Take out and make into rolls
Place on greased baking trays
Cover and leave to rise a little more
Bake in a pre heated oven 220 deg c for 10-15 mins0 -

I am trying to find a recipe for tea cakes. The ones you split and toast.
We have taken a fancy to the Tesco Finest ones over Christmas so i thought I would try and have a go myself.
If anyone has a good recipe that has been tried and tested I would much appreciate it.

Traditionally teacakes are made with yeast; I haven't used this exact recipe but it ais almost identical to the one which I do use ut don't have time to copy out:

hi i was wondering if anyone has a recipe for teacakes? only probs i dont like any other fruit but raisons so they will be just raison ones
as thats all i have in at mo.
also when making bread rolls, do i do just a recipe for normal bread in b/m and put it on mix only...then put them in to rolls? also what do i bake them on? oven tray? how long? do i need grease proof paper?
