I was really wondering what this stay would entail so I Googled around for the Featherdown Farms & I think this would a really exciting break! Back to basics although there is still a flush toilet in each tent

I think I'd have some fun learning how to bake bread in the stone oven & being able to roll up your 'walls' would be fantastic if you hit the weather just right
Not sure it would be so much fun if you hit a cold snap though - no hot water, no heating unless you can get the knack of keeping the stove alight at night
Sounds like an adventure to me! Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

That link doesn't take me to the OP hrafndot - just a page saying "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms." So I searched under "observer.guardian.co.uk foodmonthly" & this brought it up though
Thanks for spotting the duplicate!
Since it wasn't mentioned, I've just sent a pm to diva to ask her to merge the two threads

I think I copied and pasted the page I found when I searched. The page definitely existed but doesn't like launching from a search link, sorry for the confusion caused (if it did)0
