Well I have never eaten this stuff before. Mixed it all up and have shaped into sausages which are frying in a little oil on the cooker. They don't look or smell very nice! Pretty sure my ds will not like them.
I usually buy Morrisons vegetarian sausages, but for the last three visits they have not had any - do hope they have not discontinued them. Does anyone know if Tesco do veg sausages. Sainsburys only seem to have hot dog type ones.

Tesco have a pretty wide range of own brand veggie products, as do Asda (not sure on Sainsbury's or Morrison's though, sorry!)
Personally i quite like sosmixAnd it's cheap compared to pre-made veggie sausages. However if you don't like it Tesco's own brand are pretty good (and their hotdogs taste scarily like meat ones). 'Cauldron' at most major supermarkets are pretty nice too - they're usually in the chiller section rather than frozen - and Morrisons stock them. On their own I also like Linda McCartney, or if I'm cooking sausages in a sauce or something I like Quorn ones as they don't fall apart.
Holland and Barratt also do some pretty yum ones in a large flat green box, but they cost a fortune(£3.25 ish)

In my veggie days (I was a veggie for 11 years) I ate quite a bit of Sosmix. You can add tomato ketchup to it to give it a bit of tang or cheese.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Well I was completely wrong about the Sosmix. It was good, not fantastic, but quite nice and my ds liked it. No it is nothing like Quorn. I think the reason I was a bit doubtful was it was all pinky when it was uncooked.
Will deffo buy it again.:)Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I used to make sausage rolls with it. Always added sage and chopped onion to it
That sounds like a good idea. My ds hates onions but does like the sage and onion stuffing(!) so I may add some of that next time.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I love sosmix! Iceland do big bags of quorn sausage for cheapish, otherwise. Might even be Linda McCartney. Have you had Burgamix? I haven't seen any lately, but it's the same as sosmix but for burgers, obviously!Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!0
