My order says 'not yet despatched', a bit too soon for it to change I know. But anyone know how long it should normally be before the status changes?
Also I think I may have used an old credit card so the transaction may fail. What will happen in that circumstance? Will they let me change it to a new one?

It depends what delivery option you selected as to how fast it will be dispatched. It is usually within a few days.
If the card fails, they may contact you to ask you to update the details, or they may cancel the transaction and ask you to reorder (meaning you will lose the free mp3). I have heard of both happening before.0 -
Can I please ask how people find out about these free offers as I have never seen them advertised as such (apart from here
)
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!

I contacted Amazon straight away within 5 mins got a reply, apologising for there mistake and then stating as they don't have any in stock nor the manufacturer they will refund £49.99 once I send it back.
So a brilliant result, a totally free camera without the hassle of selling anything.

Took over half an hour on the telephone, but I am happy.
They are replacing my 1Gbyte MP3 player with a 2GByte Sony one, which looks a lot better - http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000VD5B2S.
Also I originally ordered the Samsung S730 for £69.99 because I thought it had face recognition as per Amazon's description. However I now know it doesn't. So they are replacing it with the more expensive, and better, L730 camera.
So for £70 I should now have an £80 camera, £55 MP3 player and £12 camera case.
Result, although it took up a bit of my valuable time. :T
I only hope Amazon mess up my next order.
