Paypal problems...

Firstly i tried to pay for an item with paypal and they will not allow me to do instant bank transfer but only allow me to send e-cheque, and when i try to pay with my card it says it was declined, though it shouldnt be as i have more than enough money in the account!

has anyone else got a problem??

oh right, thanks for that, is there a way around it? i thought maybe send the payment to the seller through paypal but not through ebay, just by send money, and write in the message bit the details of what item it is for etc. do u think that would allow me to do a bank transfer?

Sorry I can't help with that - I offered to try to get round it, but my seller preferred just to wait (she trusted me enough to send out the item immediately, which of course helped). I don't see why you can't cancel the original payment and pay direct, but then I don't understand anything about this glitch.

It took about 10 days for my account to get back to normal.
