Just received my 10 packs of seeds from T & M for £1.99 -great selection worth £20.60
I took advantage of the offer advertised in the Christmas Gardeners World magazine for 10 packets of veg and flower seeds for £1.99.
The seeds arrived this morning and I am really delighted as they actually a (mostly) good selection. I added up the cost stated on the back and the total really does come to £20.60
This is what I got:
Veg and herb seeds worth £12.64
Pumpkin Hooligan F1 hybrid (mini 3 inch pumpkins) £1.99
Carrot Tendersnax F1 hybrid £1.99
Cabbage Tundra F1 hybrid £2.99
Beetroot cylindrica (long beetroots) £1.99
Lettuce Lollo Rossa £1.99
Herb - lemon balm £1.69
Flower seeds worth £7.96
Cornflower blue diadem £1.99
Wild flower -teasel (attracts birds) £1.99
Poppy flanders £1.99
Sunflower pastiche £1.99
I think the only ones I won't actually plant will be the lemon balm as I had it in a previous garden and it seeds itself absolutely everywhere. I will give everything else a try though.
The seeds appear to be fresh stock - not last years left overs.
The offer is still on if anyone else wants to try:

There is a picture showing exactly the same seeds as I have received, so it looks like it is a standard selection and not just a random pick as I had assumed.
If that link doesn't work, you can see all the other Gardeners World magazine offers on this link:

Thanks for reminding me - I haven't had mine through yet!
I won't be planting the lemon balm either, we've got two big clumps of it already! Mind you, I do use it quite a lot, so I'm not complaining!0 -

Silvercharming, what do you do with your lemon balm apart from floating the leaves in drinks? Would love to know some other uses for my own huge clumps.0

Nobody here said they were free! - check my first post.
T & M advertise them as 'free' + £1.99 postage, which is why the title of my thread states that you get 10 packs of seeds for £1.99.
The total cost is therefore £1.99, which in my opinion, represents good value for quality seeds from a quality supplier.0 -

I have lemon balm and use it quite a lot;
It makes a lovely herb tea - stuff stalks and all into the teapot and pour on boiling water. Have hot or cold sweetened with sugar or honey to taste.
Young leaves are great in a mixed green salad.
Chop leaves and add to grated carrot - dress with vinagrette or honey and mustard dressing.
Chopped leaves are also good with a finely chopped or grated courgette salad as well.0 -

But when I was adding it to my basket, it was saying £1.99 plus P+P at £1.99 = £3.98! For some reason the discount didn't go on! Seems to be working now through

TBH I just use it inany recipe that tells you to use lemon - add it nearer the end of cooking than the start, and experiment with how much you need. I'd far rather use my free lemon balm than go and pay for a lemon
