Natwest esaver extended bonus

My 2.1% bonus comes to and end at the end of this month,
Received a letter offering to give me a 1.4% bonus for an extended period of 16 months. That sounds like 16 months from 1 Oct this year.
They even sent a freepost envelope.
Doesn't seem like a standard offer on their website and couldn't see anything about this searching this forum. Just wondered if anyone else had received different offers.
Anyway it's 2.4% which will be enough to stop me moving the money away at the moment.

I received the letter as well.
In a market where you can get around 3 to 3.3 % I think it's a bad offer and I will be moving my money away when the bonus finishes.0 -
I have accepted the offer but will be moving my money into my 3.25% egg account before the end of the month.0

Egg is 3.25%?
just looked - 12 month bonus.
I have an account already - can I open another one and add money to it and get the bonus?
Might as well - suspect I've ignored this because it's not that much more than the more convenient (for me) natwest account.
I'm sure I could search for this but thought I'd ask.0 -
Oh, I was wondering when my bonus on natwest would end - guess it's another month because I still haven't received anything.Being brave is going after your dreams head on0

I won't be taking up the offer. My original 2.1% bonus was due to run until the end of November but if I took up this offer the bonus rate would drop to 1.4% on 1st October, that's 2 months earlier.0 -
Yes you will lose 2 months of the better bonus, but I think it is a handy fall back account with the 1.4% bonus for 16 months.0

My bonus ends too, but I have had no letter. Perhaps its because I only have a few pounds in the account. I am expecting some cash soon, which I will put in the account. Hope I get a letter!!0
