i think we should put this thread to bed - OP does not want any more of our comments and i have a GREAT many more interesting things to do !!!!

moral - if you dont want a widely diverse set of left-centre-right opinons and hugely different points of view - dont ask on an internationally-read public forum

final word - maybe you are not cut out to share your home ? and i do mean this kindly - take it as you wish

This thread is hilarious and I can't believe I missed it when it was still "alive" :(

The opening post can be summed up in a couple of sentences; in fact I'll cut through all the bull !!!! and just quote what it's really saying :
    shadej wrote:
Hi all, some Froggy girl has trashed my house and I'm fuming about it and I'm going to charge her for the damage she's caused and not give her her deposit back. I'm not interested in anyone's opinions or thoughts or advice, I just want everyone to reply saying "yes shadej, you are absolutely right and you should bill her for the damage and keep her deposit". If anyone dares to reply with anything to the contrary then I will chuck my dummy out of my pram and have a big sulk so please make sure you tell me what I want to hear.

Cat obviously wants to go out. It's a cat being outside doing cat-things is normal. Never did get those daft middle-aged women who imprison animals.

    Random nasty comments, or what?

A lot of cats are house cats, and perfectly happy that way.

I agree its got out of hand, but in my experience you cannot ask for help or advice without being judged on here, seems some people are genuine and want to use their expertise in areas to helps others and some just like to put in their 2 pence worth and high and mightiness to put down others.
Who cares if the cat is a house cat its the owners choice and was not relevant really to what she was asking.
I would hold back deposit in case she does not pay rent, if she pays this and no phone calls or internet charges etc then I would give it back. Read this is what you did fair enough i think...

So the OP only wanted advice whether she should keep the deposit or not, and got angry when off topic advice was offered. Yet it was the off topic advice from MYLITTLESISTERLOLA about checking the phone bill that revealed she should keep the deposit.

    Ironic huh?

I believe all cats should be free to roam freely as they wish all the time.

Incidentally if your cat had fleas you should definitely think about a parasite cleanse for both yourself and the mog. Tapeworms are spread by being ingested by fleas that are them ingested by the host, whether animal or human.

Its really easy to eat a flea by accident.
