moozies weekly challenge w/c 12/01/08

Options
Good afternoon lovely DFWs

Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anything else.

Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

welcome all... I hope you have had a great week and kept it low... and are you ready to be turned red/green? Everyone can join, just post a target in keeping with you/your debts/your spends, don’t worry about everyone else’s budgets. Then each day post on the daily spends thread and add them all up ready to post the following Saturday. The challenge runs from Sunday to the Friday... everyone welcome... please don't worry if you have gone over budget and will be turned red it happens... to me more than anyone else.

  • well i managed only £24.75 but seeing as i ran out of cash that prob explains that. Just put some savings coins in my pots and now i have a £10 to last me untill friday ~ seems doable :rotfl:

    good luck
  • I shall offically join in, seeing as I have been merrily posting on the daily one!

The spends I know I have this week
    Mon: Slimming World £4.50
Food: Approx £40 (big shop on fri so won't be part of this challenge)
Petrol £10.01 (well it always goes bl00dy over doesn't it! :rotfl: )
Bus fare on Mon ?? as don't take the bus - shall budget £2.50
MOT is free as it's where I bought the car from but may need a new tyre...
DS can have a car/magazine for being 'good' - £2.50max

So shall have a budget of £60.00 but that doesn't include if I need to do any thing to the car...

Is that about right for the weekly challenge?!

    Thanks

    Lisa

I'd like to join if I may :j

I'll have to guess my spend for this week as I'm out tomorrow visiting a friend outside of my Oyster card region and meeting a friend after work on Monday evening. I'm going to guess £20 for both plus £2.70 for the running club on Tuesday.

I'll round it up to an even £30 :eek:

I spent £10.30 of my £20 last week, so I'm in the green.

I'll go for £20 again this week please.
  • Could I join in please?

Finally dealing with my whopping debt!
  • Me too, Have already filled the fridge, put petrol in the car and bought bits like vacuum cleaner bags so I have... £12 left for misc. spends. Nothing planned to spend it on as of yet.
