  • Hi Pap

I'd like to join please, have been setting my own weekly budget for the last few months, but never seem to stick to it, not sure i will this week either but if i'm posting it, it might keep me more motivated.

Will go for budget of £40 please, as got a friend visting on thurs and going out for tea on weds and might even be going to the bingo tomorrow lunchtime, trying to cheer my friend up.

obviously hoping not to spend that tho.

I managed £4.97 out of the £5.00 - so am happy - it could have been better but I was popping to the supermarket and my boss asked me to pick up two rolls for his soup, which came to 70p. Didn't feel I could ask for the money from him, for such a small amount.

I guess next time he pops out I'll ask for a diet coke and that'll even things out!

As for this week am going for £17.50. Should be possible as have all meals planned, just about enough petrol and nothing planned. Have already spent £12.50 at my nephews christening for drinks and a meal, but I took £15 so am happy with that, have already put the change in my change pot, so will go for £5.00 on top.

  • Completely missed this thread at the weekend due to work...... Failed miserably last week and ended up spending £29.88

Please put me in for £10 this week, I will be taking food to work every day from now on, as we are properly tight this month (and I haven't budgetted any money for the meet!)

EDIT: On second thoughts, u'd better put me on for £20, as I've spent £10 already today!
