Last weeks thread ~ http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=574500Good afternoon lovely DFWs
Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.
Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!
Moozie x

Both days were NSD anyway! Isn't it great to be back?Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
I spent too much when we were away! Need this thread to keep me on the straight and narrow so will pledge to spend no more money until the weekend with the exception of bread, milk and fruit.....:oSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hello - I'm so glad we're back !!
Unfortunately I went over budget last week - I spent 11.08
This week, I am aiming for £15.00 as I am paid this week and there's a few bits I've been hanging on to get !
I've already spent £3.24 this week, so I've started off quite badly - but I've included that in my £15, so should be on track for the rest of the week now[STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0 -
Hi all, this is my first week of joining this challenge, I assume I just post here what my budget is right? If I'm wrong can someone gently point me in the right direction!
My budget for the week is £20, that is incidental spending not budgetted essentials like my trainfares to uni etc...
Hope this is the way we do this challenge...
Pap, let me know if I've misunderstood! :rotfl::eek: Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
chole, perfect
now post each day on the daily threads... and keep a running total, most put it in their sigs but you dont have to... then next saturday/sunday i will do a thread like this but your name will be in the first post
when you tell me if you spent too much/under then i turn you red/green ~ simple eh... its just the non spending thats hard :rotfl:
