  • Aaaargh, I did rubbish today!!! I was late for work, and altho I was intending to be an extra 5 mins late and make sandwiches, I didn't remember until 10 mins AFTER I got to work  So I had to take money out
Only Spent £1.80, but had a £2, so saved that, plus the 20p, so now only got £6 in my purse til pay day a week on Fri

Pretty sure it was only £1.10 on parking, £1 on bridge toll - I can't remember spending anything else.

Will have been the same this week, except have to buy new work uniform () but that'll be Sat so won't count.

I've got a question, my weekly £30, is that for everything that I buy (yes I know I should have asked this months ago :) ) You see usually I do one big weekly shop but I was on a run of NSDs so I thought I'd do a bit of using up the freezer this week. So today I spent £12 on bread and milk etc, does this come out of my £30? Not that I mind because I'm going to have a NSD tomorrow too so I'll be well under.

I would count that as part of my food budget... I have budgets for dog food, baby milk/nappies, our food etc. My £10 is for *me* things - altho atm it goes on food at work

That's what I thought, thanks sarah. It's just I see people confess to bread and milk and supermarket stuff. I'm going to be a saint this week, for once I will be shaking my finger and tutting at everyones out of control spending during the sunday confessional :rotfl:
