I hope it's ok that i've started this, I couldn't see one, but wasn't sure if it was done differently this time of the year.
I've started mine from Saturday as i'll forget what i'm doing otherwise
Saturday - [STRIKE]going shopping (my first Boxing Day off work!) so will have to see what time we're finished[/STRIKE] had a buffet
Sunday - [STRIKE]pasta with chorizo, not sure what but I really must use it - found this so will give it a go minus the rosemary [/STRIKE] had cheese and biscuits
Monday - [STRIKE]southern fried chicken with polenta chips and sweetcorn[/STRIKE] chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese wrapped in bacon with cubed roasted potatoes
Tuesday - [STRIKE]sausage stew with cous cous[/STRIKE] beef and ale stew with either dumplings or mash
Wednesday - [STRIKE]homemade pizza - think I have a pepper in the fridge, so that, chorizo, sweetcorn and lots of cheese sounds ok![/STRIKE] vegetable stir fry with noodles
Thursday - [STRIKE]chicken kiev with baked rice[/STRIKE] leftover stew
Friday - [STRIKE]vegetable stirfry with rice[/STRIKE]http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1...rosemary-sauce
Saturday - [STRIKE]sausage pasta bake with garlic bread (might make some)[/STRIKE] chicken kiev with swede and carrot mash and potato something or other
Sunday - pasta bake
This may change as i'm off work until the 4th but don't have many plans at the moment, but that may change. Changed quite a bit as got some reduced bits in Tesco on Boxing Day so my original plans will have to be moved to another week!

:snow_laug Penny :santa2::rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Ok, this week we have:
Today: Pasta Bake made from hamper ingredients (tomato, bacon and chorizo - actually leftover pasta salad from last night in another form)
Sunday: Cold Roast Ham rolls with salad or hot with some potatoes - mmm, soul food.
Monday: Nibbles - there'll be a party of some description, so might get a French stick and some mini sausages in if I can find someFailing that, it'll be a nice homemade pizza :P
Tuesday: Spaghetti Bolognese, perhaps with the addition of some sun dried tomatoes to the sauce to give it a bit of extra flavour. I might do it in the slow cooker so it cooks for the majority of the day.
Wednesday: This was going to be a Thai Prawn curry, but instead I think I'll do grown up fish fingers and chips. Cod fillet with some tomato puree and gammon sandwiched between, then dipped in garlicky breadcrumbs ... mmm
Thursday: New Years' Eve. So nibbles, naturally
Friday: If we don't have homemade pizza on Monday, we'll have it today. Failing that, it'll probably be a nice pasta dish.
Saturday: Chilli con carne with sauteed potatoes.
Have a good week everyone.

Hello everybody - I'm a bit deflated after all the Christmas cooking (and eating), but we had 2 more guests at Christmas dinner than originally planned, so the leftovers situation was pretty good. No bank holiday for us in France tomorrow, it's back to work, so also back to menu planning.
Today was a potato gratin with blue cheese, served with leftover sprouts and parsnips, stir-fried with bits of chorizo;
Monday - batch cooking ragu bolognese in the SC, which may be served with pasta, or as chili, or as cottage pie, not sure yet. Lambs lettuce a a salad;
Tuesday - chick pea, cashew and vegetable curry
Wednesday - steak, HM wedges and chicory salad
Thursday - fish in a tomato sauce with olives and capers ('veracruz style')
Friday - New Year's meal will be lamb at DH's request, not sure which cut yet and how I'll cook it
Saturday - fake nasi goreng
Sunday - kale mash with smoked sausage
For lunches I'm making soup pretty much every day while it is so cold - now still eating chicken soup (made with the carcass and leftovers of the capon), next will be pumpkin soup and after that flageolet soup with anchovy butter.
