  • Lychees are delicious...I could eat the whole box. You can put them in some oriental dishes and curries.

    Send them to me! :j

Try mixing them with pineapple, papaya, star fruit and kiwi for an exotic fruit salad.

    Make lychee jelly.

    I love lychees!

I'm starting to go through my cupboards and try and use up stuff, and off the top of my head, these are what I can remember are in there that will never get used unless I can think of something to do with them.

They came free with a Chinese takeaway once. Can I put them in a dessert recipe as I can't see myself just eating them out of the tin

don't see why it wouldn't work in a pudding, you could do a lychee version of a peach melba  but personally I love lychees and would probably just eat them out of the tin :D

    Pollyanna,

I love lychees, and would have no problem eating them out of the tin! You could serve them with other fruit, or on their own with ice-cream, top a thin sponge with cream and lychees

If it was halloween you could've stuffed a grape in the hole and made lovely squirmy eyeballs!

We've got two tins of lychees in the cupboard too. My OH has suggested having children soon and sending them to school with them one Harvest Festival, just to get rid of them. We've had them for years!
  • do with them,ny OH bought them today,i havent a clue what to do with them.i normally put fruit on my porridge in the morning, are these nice to do this .

    cheers

I just peel and eat them - they are yummy!
  • just peel (with fingers not peeler!) and eat - watch out for big shiny brown stone in the middle though!
Can remove stone and put the flesh in fruit salad or on cereal too if you like.
They never last long enough in our house though!
    yummy!
