well folks it would appear that lxdirect have once again backed down over the use of codes together.i used the 12.95 off 1st order,the 15%off and free p&p.They didn't even kick up a fuss,just said that the 12.95 would be taken off when i confirmed items arrival.So they have backed down and i have got what i originally thought i was getting and at the discounted price.I don't think they wanted to do this but a few harsh words in an email about taking my custom elsewhere and them illegally taking an unagreed amount out of my bank account seems to have done the trick!

well, i used the 12.95 off code and the bill total online showed the reduction, and the item would be posted next day.
it wasnt, or the day after, or the next until i called them.
they had not posted the item, and claimed the credit card detials were incorrect, though when she read them back to me they were 100%....hmmm.
wonder if it was the code they were unhappy about!!
i asked to redo the order on the phone and re-use the code. All was fine and the price agreed...the item arrived next day ( excellent delivery service LX) but.... checked the online statement and the full amount had been deducted!!
another phone call....... and 1 week later i have had 12.95 credited to my account. its a lot of hassle that i am glad worked but sometimes you have to wok out what your time is worth, and i am not too sure if it was all worth the hassle.0 -
That's their new technique. They've been screwed too much by people using previous codes. They try for you to forget to apply the code when you phone them. They tried it on me!
Bad practice.

Has anyone had there card refused i placed a order useing the 12.95p code and free p+p,they sent me a parcel with just the catalogue in it and the day after i got a letter from them to say there was a problem with my card and if i wanted to sort it out would i ring them.?0

Wow. Did I have to fight for the discount code. They claim that XX867 expired 1 year ago and overall I am not happy with them and REALLY kicked a fuss and spoke to 2 different department managers and managed to fight for it to come off my item.
They really are totally ridiculous and they have REAL !!!!!! business practice, they kept using the words "good will gestures" with granting the code to me, but they are really crazy.0 -

I bought a dishwasher using the 15% code and £12.95 code. I also had the credit card refusal problem that disappeared. When the dishwasher arrived it was the model below the one I had ordered. Checking my receipt it did not have the model number on it only their code (I never printed the web page with model/price on it either; wont make that mistake again).
Unfortunately they have now changed their prices (up obviously) and their website link from pricerunner.co.uk and have no recollection of me ordering the model I wanted stating I got what I ordered. Unfortunately I cannot prove otherwise. I told them to come and collect their dishwasher as it is now 'not fit for purpose'. I await my money back.
I this another ploy to refuse the discounts I wonder?0
