Laser eye surgery £695 for both!

Options
This offer was mentioned once before via this board and is fulfilled by Optimax, UK wide, via ebay. Yes, sounds scary, but the service I have had to date has been superb and the ebay feedback outstanding.

They offer BOTH eyes for £695. PLEASE NOTE THE PRICE FOR “BUY IT NOW” is being INCREASED TO £795 from start of April, so only a few days to go.

They seem to offer places at this rate 'off peak' and you can choose where you have it done. Includes full after care. Put Laser Eye Surgery in the ebay search box and check it out. Lots of FAQ's there and good helpline.

I'm getting mine done end April ... I'll let you know how it goes. Very exciting ... and sh** scary too :-) after being blind as a Bat since 14!

    Laser eye surgery via ebay......

This is one of the things that if I was going to have it done, price would be the last consideration.

£1200 for both eyes but with a chance to win a refund, or £695 for both eyes! Hmmm, I know which I'd pick ...

Got a letter from Optimax today stating treatment for both eyes by the end of April will be £690, by 31st May will be £790 quoting the ref: DM03/05 £500/£400 Q104.

I really want this done for a long time but have just splashed out over £3k on a car and on dentist treatments in the last 3weeks :(

You get exactly the same service as people paying full price, but you are fitted in at times when there is less demand. Win-win! I looked into all the options very seriously and am confident I'll get great service.

I agree, If I thought the voucher was a good idea I'd use it myself. But there will be some who prefer to pay more for the same item and if they choose to do so they may as well have a free consultation and the chance of winning their money back.

When I get this done, I'll be going to my optician for some advice who I've been going to for 20 years. Like someone else has said, price will be the very bottom of my list.

Make sure you do your homework.

My wife had it done a month or 2 back and she LOVES it. The little things like them not fogging up when she comes in from the cold, and not having to worry about the rain.

I spent a good couple of hours on the net though reading through EVERY doc I could find on the subject, so she had all the risks laid out for her...
