Congratulations!!!!
Spend the 50p wisely!!!
....and nope, wouldn't want to subject others to my jam making skills just yet0 -
What a star! Congratulations!
People have made big business out of award-winning recipes, so how about taking your 50p, topping it up with a fiver, and brainstorm your business potential with your best friend/partner over the bottle you bought for £5.50?
[unbaked] ideas to make money with your jam: write an eBook with your jam recipes and sell it on eBay, offer your jam (in volume) to a supermarket (e.g. Waitrose buy a lot from small local suppliers], set up a stall on your local market(s), team up with a market stallholder, etc0 -
Hey congratulations!!!
Enjoy your success and if you live in an area like we do everyone will now know you're a skilled jam maker and a little sign on your gate of "Prize winning Jam For Sale" will have them knocking on your door in droves!
But if it's that good I'ld hold onto it and invest the 50p in a home made loaf of bread to go with it!0 -
That's excellent! Well done!
Definitely make a batch and try to sell it. Maybe speak to your local shop/post office/garage and try to see if they'd sell it there, and you could give them a slice of the profit.
Don't let your skills go to waste!
Oh, just thought, how about selling it to local B&Bs, restaurants or pubs? They could serve it and then maybe have it for sale in jars too.Anna :beer:0 -
Oh I don't seriuosly want to go into business.... just for our own enjoyment.
There is so little profit to be made (nice jam = loads of fruit = expensive!) and I wouldn't have a clue where I stand with Health and Safety regulations....
No it's more a case of "What have you entered in village shows?"I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -

Congratulations:j and well done:T What's it like now you're a woman of substance?:rotfl:Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

I used to enter them a lot when I was younger. I won the kiddies' cake making every year (without help from my mum!) - the competition wasn't very stiff though. I wouldn't mind having another go sometime, though South London isn't particularly strong on village fairs.0
