Halifax ISA fixed rate saver

I have been looking to transfer into Halifax's fixed rate ISA saver but there is just one thing that confuses me about their interest rates. 1 Year £3,000 - £9,999 = 6.10%, 2 Years £3,000 = 6.25%. On their website, next to the fixed number of years there is an amount, so are these interest rates only valid for amounts between £3000 and £9999 for 1 year and only £3000 for 2 years, what happens if you want to transfer in greater amounts, do u still get the stated interest rates. Thanks

Comments

  • With the one year term the interest rates are tiered, so the bigger your balance the higher the interest rate will be, minimum balance is £3,000

The two year one also has a minimum balance of £3,000 but you can put however much you like into it from your previous ISA subscriptions as long as that comes to more than £3K
