new international roaming SIMs
http://www.gt-sim.com/
The home page comes up in German by default, but there is an English button at the top right.
It is presumably an mvno on Manx Telecom, as it has a +447624 number.
Usable in about 60 countries
Call charges are €0.26/min for landlines, €0.39/min mobiles, for calls to plenty of countries. Incoming calls are €0.39/min though, which is less attractive. SMS €0.09 each is a keen price, and GRPS roaming is cheaper than some. More expensive in US, Canada (+€0.60/min) and India (+€1.00) though.
So compared to Riiing (sim4travel), it has cheaper calls to landlines, but no incoming free roaming.
___
There is a new United Mobile SIM offer, called Global, about to become available. Compared to their Riiing product, this will have free incoming roaming calls in 80 countries rather than 60, and flat rate call charges of €0.50 per minute, rather than a connect fee.
Not all the web pages relating to this have been written yet, by the look of it (some links go to the same page), but worth keeping an eye on ...
It appears that it would be cheaper than Riiing for shorter calls, and for some people the expanded country list for free roaming will be interesting - not yet listed, but a guess would say the Riiing groups 1 and 2 countries add up to 81.

For some people a local SIM card will still be more interesting, especially groups getting SIMs all on the same network, or to use in conjunction with a callback service or calling cards.
