Looking for designs for a chicken run, my three have turned out to be escape artists needing bringing back from neighbours, and this site popped up. It is the first frugal site from the USA that I've looked at that is not littered with bible verses and little dictats on how we should be obedient to our DH's lol!!

Let me know if you can find any other - non religious - sites.

Hi
Thanks Frugal, although it can be perversely addictive to read the American religious sites... I found one full of pictures of flowers and fluffy kittens, but then the texts were full of brimstone and hellfire, they declared even the Catholics as heretics!!!SSB0 -
Thanks moanymoany -very refreshing. Those sites are something else
Do you think her children are really called Princess and Buddy ?0 -

I did wonder about the names - could be real.
Interesting that it was the 'Tightwad Gazette' that got her started on being frugal.0 -
https://www.frugalvillage.com is a good, friendly site.0

This isn't a bad one from USA either. More of a blog format but nice recipes.

Just had a look at the site - it is very good but she sounds like she is really rich and I always think it is so much easier to be frugal if it is a life choice rather than a necessity.Jane

What makes you think she's really rich.
What I've read is that she lives on a farm, home schools & has a online business selling her handcraft. Their house & contents are lovely but she buys a lot from markets and does them up herself.
What happens if we grow rich from being frugal? Stop being frugal. I can't really understand what you're saying there.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

I love the vintage style of this lady's home, its gorgeous.
Never would have thought it was an American home either, I thought UK or Australian.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Hi Moanymoany
Please remember there is a limit to how many blogs you can recommend, I've already explained this to Ceridwen on another thread. Failure to comply means I have to send in the heavymob, who will be armed with chocolate brownies.
If I start reading many more blogs I'll have to give up work & sleep, to keep up with them I find them so addictive. Thanks.
Hugs Hester
