How to keep foxes out of the garden

Any suggestions on keeping foxes out of an urban garden where my daughter keeps her pet rabbits.. they are safely shut up in wooden cages but recently a fox bit its way through a friends rabbit cage and killed her rabbit... now one has gotten into my daughters garden and is doing its best to get at the rabbits... she has put a heavy blanket and all her bicycles in front of them as an emergency measure but this isn't ideal of course.... hopefully they will be ok till tomorrow when she can think of something else... meantime will anything deter them? apart from a rotteweiler.. She already has a six foot wall with trellis on top but they obviously just climb over...
anyone?

This is the only thing I found that works and believe me I've tried everything. I've only linked to this one as an example, I bought mine on ebay a lot cheaper last year. Good luck.Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before0 -

Thanks everyone some useful suggestions I will look into them , don't think the Shotgun theory will go down well in 'these here parts' but I am sure its a way out in the countryside....

One other thing, if you happen to live by a zoo, pop along and ask for some lion or tigers urine or dung, sprinkle around the perimeter fences, apparently it works well and zoos are quite used to requests0

Yep, agree with mumhug. We keep chickens so are always on the look out for Mr. Fox.
Get the man of the house to urinate around the perimeter of your garden (or be discrete and decant!):A I can fly :A0
