Watch Liverpool in Champs League in Liverpool

Due to very expensive tickets to Greece I have decided to go to Liverpool on the 23rd of May and return on the 24th May for a 1 night stay.

Dilemma: Hotels are booked. Can someone help me find a hotel in close visinity to the city centre. Or even an apartment would be ideal for two people. As cheap as possible of course.

Does any know any descent bars that will be showing the game. Will there be a big screen in the city centre?

Who remembers being in Liverpool when they won in Istanbul? Can you people help please as to what to expect.

Thank You

Did you try the Innkeepers on Aigburth Road (Liverpool South)? There are buses every few minutes that run past it and one that runs 24 hours which you can walk from to the hotel in about 10 minutes. Its a nice area with great curry too!

Blackburn Arms Pub? In town but has rooms
    Formule 1
    Campanile
    Dolby Inn
    Lord Nelson Hotel
    Feathers Hotel

Remembering Instanbul, it will be absolute bedlam but in a nice way

There will be plenty of places showing the game, the Sports Bar, Walkabout, The Swan I think most places will show it.

I am from Allerton which is the far end of South Liverpool but used to live in Anfield which is in the North end and not that far from Alder Hey. The other Inn Keepers in Stoneycroft is probably nearer, there is also the Stag and Rainbow which is on the same road.
I asked my friend who is a pharmacy tech at Alder hey and she sent me this document which lists all the nearest hotels. https://www.alderhey.com/RLCH/assets/Accommodation_in_Liverpool.doc Any listed as L3 are near town. L12 and L13 are nearer.
