Hoovers... which one to buy????

Options
Can anyone help me out... new hoover needed, but where do I start???

I am in desperate need of a new hoover, I have been using my mother-in-laws old hoover for longer than I want to think about... it is a Karcher pull along, a great hoover really powerful, but the reason she was keen to let me use it was because the wheels kept falling off... After repeatedly re-attaching the wheels every time I use it, and have been using it for the last year/year and a half, I have started to develop Hoover rage... husband has tried various different repairs but no sucess... TIME TO GET A NEW ONE......

So where do I start?? I wanted an upright as found that with my pull along I seemed to bend over while hoovering, and as hoovering is done lots and lots, this can't be good for me. So then what brand/model???? THought about Dysons but I am getting such mixed feelings about them that I dont know what to do, a local hoover sales and repair man recommended the Henry, but this is the pull along again.

Can you help me out....?? Any recommendations or ones to stay away from, as I am feeling a bit lost, and can't cope with the hoover rage of my existing machine any more!!!!!!

Many thanks

Dyson is THE BEST! No contest. My family has several versions bought between 1998-now, and everyone of us is so pleased. Last year we took ours to clean up after builders and it was a workhorse. The on/off button stuck and we called up Dyson within the warranty and they sent an engineer to sort in out within days, no hassle.

We use a dyson and have been very pleased with it. I’m afraid that you pay for what you get and many cheaper models are not up to the job.
    I came, I saw, I did a little browsing.

I bought a Sebo X4 recently and very pleased with it. Sucks everything off the carpet and NOT the carpet (apparently a DYSON does that!!)

Only thing with the Sebo is that its NOT bagless :(
The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
  • We have a cheapo LG hoover that cost £28 inc del from ebuyer ....... it cleans the carpet you get 3 free bags and a spare belt ......... job done :)
