    My apologies folk for bumping but waterhouse_melons has posted 2 comps yesterday which are already on the board, so I would say it's good advice for them to have a read of Velvet Glove's very informatine guide to searching etc. here

    Having said that we all still manage to post the occasional dup... :o

    BTW: the Comps from this website show every time with a search of complete URL.

    Cheers for the advice Martins Doll.As you say ,we can all be caught out on search,as I know.Posting the questions does help on later search so one for people to bear in mind,as you've mentioned.

    Yep, I've said for a long time now that posting the question as well as the answer does help many folk including me when searching for a new comp!

    I personally search a stripped URL and the question based on advise from fellow compers who were far more experienced than me... :)

    Sorry to bump, I agree with what's been said, and would also encourage people to copy and paste the title of the comp if possible, as I have been caught out with that recently :)
