i have a load of chicken thighs and drumsticks that i had for free curtasy of tescos r & r policy..... my freezer is jammed packed so cant freeze them.... so i was wondering if anyone had a recipe and cooking instructions ...to jazz them up a bit.. as normally i just cook them in the oven plain...and its getting very boring now.....i normally get my meat from the butchers.. but at the mo....i am taking full advantage of tescos r & r policy....
any suggestions would be extremely helpfull....and my kids would love you to bits if you could tell me how to do something similar to a southern /kentucky style coating......
i would be very gratefull for any ideas.........thanks....

I skin them and then poach them for 15 minutes and let cool. Then I mix flour with a pinch each of thyme, salt, white pepper, paprika (or you can use cayenne but its too hot for us), onion or garlic salt. Then you dip the chicken in egg and flour twice (double dipping) and fry in oil until really brown and crunchy.Jane

Curry chicken legs & thighs in the slow cooker, they turn out great
tin toms, spices, veg, chicken. Low heat, EAT WITH SMILE:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
