Argos £500 Gift Voucher- PLS ADVISE ME
MUHAMID
I am going to buy items worth £500 from Argos. A person is selling a voucher worth £500 for £420 to me on ebay.
Hence, I want to know whether such vouchers are legitimate and valid as given by Argos and can I use them for multiple purchases?
And wats the small print for this?
Thanks in advance.

I presume these are right

Can't see anything which says they're non-transferrable.
HOWEVER
If you look here

the maximum it lets you buy is £200. So I would be very wary.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

just be careful its not a scam, check the persons feedback0

I have never heard of Argos voucher to that value, and even if there was I would be suspicious it was genuine. I wouldn't risk it myself.0

I would be very careful buying vouchers as there are lots of scammers out there! I have been scammed before buying vouchers:mad: luckily it was only £30 but I would not risk it for that amount! As others have said check out their feedback if it is full of ebooks for 1p then steer clear!! Ask them to show you a pic of the actual vouchers too.DFW no.630!

One thought is to ask for the voucher number and then ring up Argos who may be able to confirm it's genuine.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

aRGOS can mauanlly do vouchers to the amount you want. I took a item back and got a gift card for £8.97 so i bet they can do it for £500.
Personally i would ring up and ask if you could buy a £500 voucher or ask the seller how many cards he as.
Ive brought loads of Next vouchers of Ebay and never had a problem, just make sure they have at least 10+ feedback. usually i go for more thou.:ASexy_fufu:A0 -
If some of the vouchers came from Nectar point, you will have to show your nectar card before they accept it. I just swap my nectar points for Debenham vouchers 500points each worth £5.00 voucher for Debenham/adams/argos/sainsbury. Wonder how that seller manage to get £500!!!0

someone on Ebay is selling 2 x £200 Argos vouchers, auction finishes in a couple of hours.
The seller just got 3 neg feedbacks yesterday from buyers saying he is a con, and that his details are fake. So be careful...0 -
IMHO its not worth the risk, why not check out the discounts and good buys posted on the grabbit or shop til you drop threads and save the money another way. Buying £500 from 1 seller is very different to buying the odd £10 gift voucher.0
