Haven't heard of them myself but it occurs to me that you can get advice on savings to be made on holidays, cars and many many other things and all for free, yes you already know where .... HERE!

My feeling is stick your £69 in a high interest saving account and add to it all the savings you make by reading the boards and posts; can't help but think it will be a better bet.

I joined them last year. One advantage is that they do the searching for you. You tell them how much you can get it for and then they try and beat that price. If they can't beat it they will give you 10% of what you paid back, if you send them the invoice. I have 3 claims going through at the moment, all of them on insurance deals.

    Another SPAM post?

Newbie asks a question - fine, then another Newbie happens to have heard of them??

I'm glad this post has cropped up. I got a mailing as well like OP. The thing is, it said I had returned a prepaid envelope requesting this; I have no memory of doing so! My letter was dated 5th May but I know I'm always reluctant to send things off.
Anyway, I looked at the site and I definately won't be joining.

  • Not a hoax ! The guy chasing me - I've ignored his call's - think he's got the message!!!

Thanks for the feedback i've decided to leave it - as already pointed out many ways to try and save money- through sites such as this. thanks again Flossey 5.

Its just i,m always a bit coy with such company's - thus the reason for the post, asking for advice/guidance.

I joined last year as well, they offered me 3 months membership FOC, so I joined and used them to source a new TV, Kitchen Table & Chairs and a few DVD players, all in the free months. I cancelled my membership before I had to pay and everything was easy and wonderful. I pride myself on researching great deals on goods, I can say I compared my results with theirs on the TV and a DVD player and their results were as good as mine, so I trusted them after that, was really effortless. But I wouldn't pay for their services unless I really had NO time to surf & compare and needed to buy at least a few items a year to cover the membership costs. All in, a good service, but you can do it yourself given time.

I would agree with nik-nik it is only of use if you have not got the time to do the searching yourself and provided you are going to buy enough items to cover your membership fee. Because they couldn't get me a better price on several items I covered my fee with the refunds they gave me. You could always use this sight to find the cheapest and then get them to try & find it cheaper. If they find it cheaper your quids in and if they don't you get money back so you are also quids in.
Perhaps Midget_Karen would like to check things out before jumping to conclusions.

So you've managed to find stuff £690 cheaper than they've offered.? Sounds like they're a total waste of time.!!!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but has anyone heard of the money club. Its a website that promise they can find the lowest prices for just about anything and everything. They ask for a yearly subscription of £89 but if you don't make it back within the first 3 months they will refund you, apparently. The link is https://www.themoneyclub.co.uk

This is not an ad for it I just received the bumf through the post yesterday and wondered if anyone else had any experience of it. Thanks in advance for anything helpful.
