Have a look at the thread on Travelodge £10 rooms - I have managed to book 4 nights in a family room for £40 not too far from Legoland in the summer holls and plan to buy the entrance tickets with my Tesco clubcard vouchers!0

Forgot to say - take a picnic to Legoland - as the food & drink is pricey!0

We always take a picnic to theme parks as usually the food is expensive. This year we're going to get into Thorpe park for free thanks to Tesco clubcard deals. Will still take the picnic, but if we do decide to eat there it won't do a lot of damage.
Something else we do is the night before we get some spare bottles, bung in loads of drink (squash) and then freeze them. When we go to the theme park...in the bag they go and we then have nice cold drinks without having to pay extortionate prices.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Last Year I had an out of season Lego land ticket, along with a friend. We took our young children every few weeks. Great if you live close enough for day trips. The children can become members of the lego club and recieve free comics in the post. try joining your 6yr old into the club through the web, you may get discount vouchers!!!karren wrote:Hi my little girl wants to go to legoland for her birthday on the 24th april, has anyone any tips on how we can go on the cheap as there are two adults and two children 2years and 6yrs, i would appreciate any ideas, thanks.
Going in April will be cold, so take warm clothes! Also rain macs for the April showers! Avoiding the £2.50 rain macs and £6 umbrella's.As well as taking your own food I recomend a flask of hot chocolate. Our's was much appreciated late in the day. Happy Birthday to your child. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
