What Picture Card for Olympus Mini Mju Digital S?

I just bought an Olympus Mini Mju Digital S 5 mega pixel camera. I want to get a picture card with more storage than the 16MB it came with and have been looking at ebay, as a starting point, to see what's available and at what prices. I've got a bit confused and haven't found the Olympus website and their compatibility charts much help.
My manual says the camera 'uses an xD-Picture Card (16-512MB)'. Could someone out there help me with a few questions?
1 The Olympus cards I've seen have all been type H. The manual doesn't mention the type and the one in the camera is not type H. Is type H compatible with this camera?
2 Do the words in the manual indicate that I cannot use a 1GB card?
3 If I don't get an Olympus card will I lose anything other than the panoramic function (which at this stage I cannot imagine using)?
4 Any suggestions on where I'll find the best deal?
Any advice gratefully received.

The type H cards are higher speed cards and the cost isnt much more and well worth the extra, your camera will write the photo to the car quicker so you can take the next on sooner.
Possibly but My camera said 16-512 too and I have a 1GB card in it no problem.
The only thing you loose buying a fujitsu card is the panoram function, I wasnt worried as I use photoshop to create panoramic shots anyway, the panorama function requires you to use the olympus image editing software aswell.
where to buy? I buy from scan.co.uk as they are local to me. my memoy, mr memory there are loads and where to buy memory cards is a common thing and the sugestions are all the same.0 -
Thanks, very helpful. I'll take a look at Scan as it's only up the road from me too.0
