SanDisk Clip Jam MP3 Player Frozen

I recently bought a SanDisk Clip Jam MP3 Player to use when running. Apart for the sound not being loud I am happy with the MP3 Player. However it has frozen on me in the middle of a song and no matter what button I press nothing happens. I cannot even get it to turn off.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi,
you could try pressing and holding power and menu buttons for 15/20secs.0 -
Basic suggestion is to try and see if it will reset, if not, probably not a lot you can do other than leave it to see if the battery will run down, then try and recharge it again.
Resetting a Clip Jam
1. Press and hold the Power/Center Select button for approximately 20 seconds.
2. Release the Power/Center Select button.
3. Press the Power/Center Select button again to turn on the player.

... Apart for the sound not being loud...
Make sure that the volume setting is set to "High".
---> Settings > System Settings > Volume > High
If it's still not loud enough you can "restore" and set the region to "Rest of World" because EU settings are low to protect our ears.;)
Probably you need to make sure you have backed up your music before you restore otherwise it might get deleted!.
The information is here ---> https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7890/~/sansa-player-volume-is-too-low
