I've now gone N/A on the Potato Salad. Not because the APG already went N/A and therefore it makes no difference anyway if it's not comparing, regardless of whatever I may or may not have, but because I now think that Savers Potato Salad is no longer being produced. I've seen stores not having (or no longer having?) any SEL for the product, none of which have any stock either so no evidence of the product ever being available in them. All the other stores, in which I have seen a SEL for the product, have had no stock.present. If anyone has any stock of Savers Potato Salad in their M, then do please let me know; but in the meantime I believe the product is no longer produced for/stocked/sold by M.

I've already concluded, quite some weeks ago, that the Somersby Cider 20 cans packs are no longer available in M. They had already gone from all of my usual stores and I've not been seeing them in any of the 50+ other stores that I've been visiting over the last month or so. And I don't think the 10 pack cans of Strongbow Cider (at £5) are stocked by M anymore either - so have removed them from my list about a week ago. I did have a "temporarily OOS" sign in one store some weeks ago, that I have now revisited and found there to be no evidence of the product at all anymore and no space for it. That was the only store that had been left with any evidence of the product at all for me, after it disappeared from the only other store I had it in - would you believe my main city store was found never to have any evidence of the product at any time in the first place? True - I've never seen it in there (or any SEL for) - I had to rely on a town store a few miles away for that:rotfl:. In the meantime, before revisiting the other store (yes, it disappeared from that town and I had to move to another town:rotfl:), I have been visiting all these other stores and the product hasn't been in any of them.

The AB Roast Potatoes (1.5Kg) were in two out of three stores for me on Wednesday. (It would have been one out of three if I had used my usual matrix of stores.) They were in none of the three stores I went to yesterday at all. They will still be in the stores I checked only the previous day though - this is not evidence of M suddenly getting rid of the product completely - just that the three stores I've happened to pick on Thursday, none of them had them. In fact, technically I know they are still in one of the "Wednesday" stores on Thursday as I did take a family member to M after I'd come back home and so technically I've visited my own city store again and I did see them in there again. Obviously I didn't look through the whole store though:rotfl:.

But make of that what you will - AB Roast Potatoes found in two of three random stores on one selection, found in none out of three on another!

If anyone has any Savers Potato Salad, Somersby 20 pack or Strongbow 10 pack Cider in their M or Ms and knows differently from me, do let me know and I'll put them back onto the list! (You'll have to confirm their prices for me too:rotfl: - just a visual sight will do, I don't need a till scanning.) I believe M does not have them. Correct me please if necessary! (I will of course make a note on the SP Potato Salad, if I do reinstate it as having an M comparable item, that it has been no longer comparing on the APG.)

EDIT: :rotfl:I suspect I'm now at a stage where I'll be in an M one day, in a few weeks' time, and suddenly exclaim "Somersby Cider!" if I ever see the pack again - and then you'll know that it's me:rotfl::rotfl:! So, watch for any strange man suddenly exclaiming "Somersby Cider!";)...

EDIT: However, I note from my list - my list is very helpful! - that the 720g version ended up at £1.50 on RTC in M. So what a rip off! 360g for the same price:eek: - cheeky thinking I would not have details of the much larger size's price from before:rotfl:. Don't go getting the rip-off offer of £1.50 for 360g in M either:rotfl::rotfl:.

I saw just one pack of 720g left in one M store five weeks ago. I think this may have been the week after it had been £2 offer and disappeared from everywhere else for me after that - but just this one store for me (Winsford?) where, a little later, I saw it cheaper. I didn't buy it though - I thought of the Everyday Essentials 900g biscuits or something like that at £1 prices:rotfl:. Surely, by now, the 720g McVities must have completely gone from M though?:think: Which is no excuse to buy half the size at the same price. Avoid!

(I bet, after it sold, they brought out lots of other stock of it from the back warehouse of the store:rotfl::rotfl: - so, who knows, still there somewhere? May have moved to some store 100 miles away:rotfl:.)
