    I bought the above 6 month ago and no problems so far.

    that must be a bad conversion from chineeze , it probably says 1 @2.4A, 2 @ 1.2A

    You can just about make out the power values. The 2 gang socket has Axiom on the back with all the electrical standards.Yeah,I know it can all be faked but...

    My picture shows up on Firefox but not on my Chrome browser so if anyone can explain I'd be grateful.

    I looked in to getting a couple of these - I like the idea in principle (in fact, I always thought it was strange not to have a standard for a low-voltage supply in houses, especially since the advent of low-voltage lighting and other electronics).

    However, for all the reasons above and the relatively high cost, I decided against it. I did get a very sleek, slim plug-in USB charger for £1.98 in B&Q, though.

    Most of my back boxes are not deep enough to take these sockets. But I do have enough spare sockets to use a plug-in charger unit, which I have quite a few of now they've become "standard issue" with so many devices.

    Have you tried spacer frames as they come in various depths and sizes to make up for shallow back boxes.

    I replaced a normal double socket in the kitchen with a USB mains socket and have found it very useful.

    I don't see your picture in #15 with Firefox on Windows 10.

    There is an image tag when I look at the underlying code, though.

    The URL within it doesn't resolve when I enter it in a post.
