Probably the biggest thing ALL of us on here are gambling with is our TIME. and we never ever get that back.0

I always write my address sideways and put my phone number under the postcode, touch wood not had one returned yet.
My little boy has done quite well with postal comps from the magazines I buy him and I can only assume it's too much hassle for people to buy/write/post a postcard or they don't think they will win so don't bother. The things my son has won has more than paid for the magazines which I would buy him anyway and the stampsYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

The definition of gambling doesn't have to involve money.
Gambling is taking a risk of any sort. If I run a marathon and have never run more than a mile before that is taking a risk.
If I was to go out for 15 minutes and left the TV on standby that is taking a risk (it is a gamble)
If I didn't take a card out with me but some cash and didn't count how much it would be, it would be a risk to go around the shop and go to the counter without knowing you had enough money.
If I was to play a board game and was to bet something expensive that isn't money it would still be a gamble.
Gambling is a choice and if you win big by having a gamble then I would be happy for anyone. I will try anything weather it's a text, postal, phone in, purchase or free comp because it's worth to have the go if you have the money.
If I bought yorgut every week but then bought different yorgut because of a competition because I would be spending would that be gambling.0 -

Oh that has brough back a memory! Frubes had a competition on earlier this year to win nintendo prizes including Nintendo DSs. I bought 3 boxes each time we went to the supermarket (they where £1 each). Never won a flippin' thing. Still, I had plenty of tasty frube yoghurts.. :rotfl:Wins of 20210 -

Postcard entries are not necessarily "spending".
I get free postcards from the local cinema, I do the Royal Mail survey so get free stamps.
It doesn't cost me a penny
(And I've had some pretty fab wins from postals too!)Thanks to all posters :A0 -
