BM worked today with this:
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=yatuka%20sushi%20bamboo%20rolling%20mat
I shouldn't have thought this was risky, but I did. I thought that this might not class as 'grocery', but then I couldn't recall reading anything in the BM T&Cs that said it was excluded. It does work though. (I know it's 69p in Morries, according to msm.co.uk, but I did have something at Sains. that offset my loss of 21p, or possibly 28p.)
I could have done with something that was £2.00 in Sains. and 70p at A (or, even better, cheaper than that). Unfortunately the John West Light French Tuna Salad had already increased in price in A, so had to make do with something else (I did buy the Tuna Salad last week, just trying to maintain the value of my BM as much as possible and get as much back). So, I settled for this - it was either this or the Imperial Leather "Tropical Paradise" 250ml £2 vs 97p A.
(I'm sure someone will now tell me of something that is £2 in S and 70p in A, but never mind, I couldn't find any.)
Lol:rotfl: - I thought I'd bought too big a banana and paying them too much cash (all of four pence:rotfl:) but I 'forgot' about the Sushi Mat being £1.99 in S rather than £2 so ended up being a penny less:T. I think I get concerned at about 7p excess, that seems to be my limit, and at 8p that's when I say completely no and abandon the whole shopping:rotfl:.
The beggars in A have increased some prices I notice. So, maybe watch out to see if the r'backs are still showing in your stores tomorrow. The Birds Eye Petit Pois (545g - seems tiny to me:(:rotfl:) is now £1.99. I think that would still work on S BM - as it was showing £1 this morning but not this afternoon. BM information is from midnight last night. What I find really funny (:rotfl::rotfl:) is that it's still marked as a "Savvy Buy" on msm because it has a "half price" cashback offer - even at £2 in T:eek:. Er... half price back off £2 and a match to £1 (or half price off £1 straight in A before) - or price increase to £1.99 and half price of that? Avoid half price of new straight £1.99 pricing as it is absolutely no good.
Also - I nearly passed out:D when I saw this this morning - the Tuc Crackers have gone up from long-time 50p in A to £1.31:eek::eek:. They worked on BM before, but they were already showing £1.31 by 5am this morning (yes, I really was up!) and I hadn't checked what they were at around midnight, so didn't dare risk them. Then again, neither had I checked the Sushi Rolling Mat back then - and msm isn't clear and specific enough:p for me as doesn't precisely clarify whether this has gone down in price only today or whether it was yesterday or day before. I could have had the Rolling Mat comparing from £1.99 to £1.32, but didn't consider that to be too bad a loss if that had happened, which was the price (according to msm) on 1st December but, in the event, the BM worked to 90p. (I was even prepared for a complete loss on the thing if it wasn't covered by BM.)
So, it worked (as did everything else) and I'm happy with my shopping. Not too happy about some loyalty points though. It now turns out that some points were credited twice in error earlier - which I only noticed when I found some had been deducted today so not got as many as I expected. Hopefully I will be back over a 250 amount before the time of my next shop, if all goes to plan and, if it does not, I will not be very happy at all about it but I have a back-up plan.
Crisp n Dry 2L works (no reason for it not to have done) - nice high price of £4 in Sains helped me a lot. Also I Can't Believe 1Kg spread worked (again there's absolutely no reason why it would have failed, and it didn't) - I deliberately avoided the 500g version at £1, no matter how many places in the store they put them at. And the Activia Intensely Raspberries & Cream worked, again, so those people in my house that are consuming too many of them now have a replacement back.0 -

You probably all know this but I've just discovered that if you look at your last order on Asda, there is a facility to request refunds for anything that was unsatisfactory. It also shows you what refunds they have already processed at the collection point. My rejected vodka is showing as 'processed' but the chocolate croissants are still there - so I've requested a refund on those as well. I didn't know you could do that.Just did a search on Good Housekeeping for Toad in the Hole, and the first response was Problems in the bedroom? !!!HD vs T
