Having had the Xperia Z and now the SP (currently around £185) I really wouldn't recommend Sony.

Poor screen quality and buggy firmware.
I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Well, the SP is the best one for your budget - currently £185 or so at Phones4u...Or you could spend around £100 on a Moto G which has a better screen, better battery, speedier interface and a more up-to-date version of Android. (I don't really use the Sony anymore, the blue fuzzy screen puts me off.)

I bought a Motorola Moto G from Tesco Direct for £89 delivered today. £99 Tesco price and there's a £10 code for new customers knocking around on HUKD. Free delivery to your door or free delivery to your nearest store. Locked to Tesco mobile but easily unlocked via code from ebay for £2. An absolute no brainer, basically. Patience needed, however, as they fly out quickly once Tesco list them on their site but register for email stock updates and get in there ASAP.

I'm not sure budgets of £185 come into to it when considering the Moto G because many users have commented this is a £200+ phone masquerading as a budget phone. Why spend more than you absolutely need to just because that's what you have to spend? Put the spare £90 to a tablet or something (the superb Nook HD+ with 9" full HD screen, 16GB storage and SD card slot can be had for a frankly silly £129.

According to HUKD yes, Asda/Walmart was heavily advertising it on TV and their website so demand was heavy, you'll be lucky to get one now, they didn't have that many phones at that price anyway. Amazon had a few for £99 but again - sold out. It's this Black Friday gimmick madness.

The Motorola G seems to be a better phone for £99 from Tesco, bigger display, faster electronics. In and out of stock.
