    Morning all, I was still working until 8pm last night so didn't get a lot of time after to post. Pleased to report I'm on the mend though, going to spend the day catching up on housework etc and not going out.

    Btw, does anyone have any good recipes for a pork shank? Saw something about pork hock in coke on one of the forums, wondered if it would work with the shank.

    Also have a mix of offal in the freezer, stuffed lambs hear, turkey liver and I think a turkey heart too. If anyone can come up with something I can turn those into that would be great. Trying to clear out some space for Xmas. In true ready, steady cook style, I also have short rust pastry, casserole lamb, sausages, onions and potatoes that could be used. Although can get other necessary ingredients too. :D

    Grey old day here, lawn needs a On my way! badly but think i will aim to do that tomorrow.

    You could use the sausages and pastry and make sausage rolls. Or braise the lamb with the veg and then cook the pastry separatly on a baking sheet so you have a lamb casserole topped wth the pastry. Or make pasties.

    Don;t know about the pork in coke, have heard of it but don;t know a recipe. If you ask on elite I think someone on their will know that one.

    Or toad in the hole with mash and veg.

    Sorry I am not being very inventive here. :rotfl:
