I always thought it was Irish colloquial word - my relatives used it - you used to be sent for the messages to the shop :&
I don't have any Irish or Scots connections...a bit of Welsh I think..but we always used the term here in my part of the North East. Having said that we had a large Irish immigrant population locally and even had our own Protestant/Catholic riots at one time...but let's not go there:oAwaiting a new sig0 -

I got the reduced Huggies in boots today £2.17 for 32 - £3.33 for 52 they're being discontinued so prices should be nationwide
Have had a busy few days shopping so looking forward to chilling with team welshy this weekend
