IIRC they benchmark against SSE.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

They certainly get their fuel from them, that's for sure.0

I had that
letter!!!
It was envitiable as they tend to say we have no plans to increase prices when SSE announce theirs but tend to follow a little later!!!

Following my calculations, my electric day up 16.2%, night 11.7%. (economy 7)
Gas up 10.5%
If they benchmark against SSE, how can they say that it is still ethical to implement a bigger increase than SSE?0 -
I got the letter today aswell.
I have done a comparison and I could save £40 a year moving to N Power but it is on a tariff with a standing charge.
I only use around £250 of gas a year and, like most, this is mostly through the winter months so a standing charge tariff would end up costing me more in the summer months.
Not sure what to do so might just stay with them.Cashback earned
Quidco : £858
Pigsback : £20 and a Beatles CD.0 -
Low electricity user here (Pay about £300 a year), even with the price rises they re still one of the cheapest for me, I would rather pay an extra fiver a year to stay away from the big 60
