You had a few problems on this receipt - you seem to have mixed a Sainsburys (coke) and a Tesco (shampoo) shop together?

The shampoo shop didn't work due to the
1 x Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Split End Protectio...£1.00N/A
1 x Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Split End Protectio...£1.00N/A
As these didn't compare the 3 for 2 didn't kick in with the styling gel.

As for the coke - I have no idea why it compared £2.50 to £1.00??

The wipes are 241 so it compares with the wipes as there is no 241 ambrosia on the list.

    Trouted in a mega way!!
Not only did the SA tut and humph about my apg I was spending, she only charged me for 2 Tropicanas when I bought 3!!! So I lost out on the yogurts. :( Should have had an apg of nearly £12. Oh well.

I noticed something weird too. SA wasn't scanning the barcodes, just inputting the amount under manufacturers coupon. She firstly typed my amount in £10 less than it was:eek:, then for the second made it £2 less, claiming she had no specs with her and couldn't read it.

Mine never scan and they always put them in manually as a manufacturers coupon. They always show up on my receipt as that too. Thought that was the norm :o:)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

trying to decide whether i should go out tomorrow and buy a big box of Fairy powder for £10 that will eventually be used or just redeem points for smaller stuff

No I think you can redeem them until the end of Sept but receipts must be dated up until 9th:)

  • Just opened mine as well and they have written my name on all 3, but no birthday filled in. Do you happen to know if these could these have been given as gifts if the name wasn't written on them? Or are they linked to your account? Just wondering if it's worth a phonecall on Monday :)

Not sure if you can use them as gifts...but tbh I would be impressed getting a gift with someones else name on, so personally I wont give it as a gift !!! However in one of my emails the cs adviser listed all the numbers of the LYB cards that have been sent.
