    Hi all

    Hope all are well

Oh susan you two are having a really rough time at the moment, seems like they really need to re-think the morphine, Nicks on 90mg MST every 12 hours and is not having anywhere near the problems Alan is having. He gets a bit withdrawn and spacey but no hallucinations at all.
We were told that the palliative care is to keep him as well, and as comfortable as possible whilst maintaining a reasonable quality of life, neither you or Alan are getting that at the moment, let them know everything about his symptoms in the hopes that they can adjust the meds for him. Humungeous hugs to you both, I feel your pain.

Boult glad you are getting sleep now and hope leg is less painful.

Pat sad to say yes it looks like you were right about Pompey. Have fond memories of Nick and our friend taking the kids to Fratton Park on a Saturday afternoon then meeting up with us girls to all go to the dog track in the evening! It was £5 per per person at the track and that included chicken and chips! Way to bring your kids up eh! Football hooligans by day, gamblers by night!! (they turned out ok though!)

    Take care all

Quick post as I wait for the ambulance :(:(

Alan still in a very bed state with halucitations and muscle spasms/twitching which makes it almost impossible for him to eat or drink. He is severely dehydrated and is to be admitted to Kings Lynn Medical Wards for rehydration via drip and review of his meds. Doc checked availablitly of bed when here at lunch time and was told one would be available in MAU in 4 hours so he ordered the ambulance for then, which would have meant about 5.30/5.45pm. However, ambulance admin have rang me twice to check on his condition and said that they will be here as soon as the have an ambulance available

Thank God it was District Nurse Julie who has seen him so often and could see the massive difference in him when she came today - she was shocked by his appearance and made sure that he was going to get admitted to hospital. She even rang me later to find out if GP had sorted it out for him to be admitted, bless her :A

I will let you all know how he is when he eventually gets into hospital and settled in a ward

    Many thanks to Locarr for posting a link on 11+ thread - you're a darling :A :A and I've always thought it :A :A
