Sorry for the repitition - but can anyone point me in the direction of some instructions for the SSM posting? :o

I don't really understand what I'm supposed to put in my 'to-do' list - or how it works really!! :o

    TIA :)

I was at work, so came to this SSM rather late too.

I do think it's worth getting some of the stickers as you can claim £1 MOC's, and some of the items are currently £1 at T's, so some free items.

On the to do list, just list chores you need to complete. Then mark them off as completed. Can't remember how many trigger the vouchers, but something between 5 - 8.

Bought Herbal Essences Dazzling Shine Conditioner 200ml and used one of the SSM £1 vouchers.
Put it in Price Check and it's come back as :

    T - £2.00 A - £1.75

Only 25p, but maybe a good one to add if you have lots of items that you know are going to get you a good JTD while you're using the SSM coupons. x

Anyone still doing SSM? Ive got 25 out of 41 now. Most of the outstanding ones are waiting for someone to make my posts favourites or all the 'sharing' ones.

Does anyone know how the sharing ones work? Would it mean that all my tips and questions pop up on all my FB friends walls:o

HELP i forgot to get mince today, can you make mince and potatoes with quorn.

I only ever make mince with quorn as I'm a veggie. Maybe a silly question but have you got quorn mince or chunks?
If you've got chunks just cut it up really small or whack in the food processor.

Make a tomato/ veg sauce as a base first; I soften onions and garlic, then bung in grated carrot, mushrooms, leek, peppers, courgette (whatever veggies I have) then add a couple of tins of tomatoes, some tom puree and some basil. Cook for about 20 mins until all soft, then I blend mine to lumpy soup consistency.
Add the quorn, add some more water if needed.
Now for my secret ingredient to fool the meat eaters... when the lot is bubbling add some gravy granuals (I use the red bisto as this is veggie) add as much as you like depending on how rich you like it. Add more water if necessary. Cook until the quorn is hot through.

I obviously don't read posts well enough or I'm perhaps jut a bit slow at times:rotfl:! I thought Zippy was a she! Sorry Zippy.

I also have a mental picture of folks on here but I'm willing to bet that I'd get a big surprise in reality.:rotfl:

As to blokes not being natural bargain hunters/posters I suppose that's possibly true but in our case we seem to have a bit of a role reversal in that respect. OH really doesn't have a head for money, bargains and is a bit of a brand nutter(but I still love her dearly for all that just in case that comes across wrongly:o)

Quite true Artha we would all get a real surprise if we met, Qpranger is not like I thought at all she would be when I met her at all, she's on her hols so I can say it;)She's much more girlie than I thought she would be. And it seems wrong to me when you say "nutter" because I have a picture of you being a distinguished gentleman for some reason;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

when you 1st came onto this thread i knew you had a head for money matters, as i do. but dont post that way... but my wife has no idea at all and she says to me --- just do your thing in ts as i cant do it. ive tried to tell her how on the easy bits but she wont even go in there with me now. (again i blame nikkilala lol)

I'm used to getting the blame for everything;)
I grate cheese top of spag bol and it's yummy. Grated cheese also goes on chilli tacos so can't see why it couldn't be put straight on to the chilli on the plate.

If I'm feeling really bad I put my chilli with rice and have grated cheese on top and a splodge of sour cream;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
