It does actually say 'slouch fit around the waist' in the description.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

In that one it does, on the one I bought it says 'drapes beautifully round the middle' which is my issue - it doesn't! It's not a slouchy fit anyway, it sticks out and looks funny.

I think I am probably being a bit picky, but if it was me who was the seller, I would be mortified and offer a refund to my buyer.
  • Without having anything to compare it too it's hard to judge whether that's the way the item is meant to be.

Unfortunately that's a risk with buying things online before trying them on.
I think you kinda have to take that into account, esecially so when buying from a private seller, and if you're not sure it's better to go with buisness sellers as you have a few more options for returns etc.

I see a certain post has been deleted, presumably by the board guide. No dissent in the ranks allowed!

but you cant determine a buyers body shape so whats to be mortifed about?

Its a risk anyone runs when buying certain thinks online ie clothes, paint etc as they are things you NEED to see in real life or try on to be sure its exactly what you want.

IF the item is damaged or made or cheaper material or clearly not what is says in the listing regarding the make, then yes you have every right to a claim. BUT with regards to how its fits you - assuming its the right size and IS as pictured, IMO you should allow the seller the benifit an either give it away as a gift or sell it on.
Plus, who know's, you may make a bit of money by selling it.

Just had another look at the second one you posted, and it mentions hand wash only.
Does it say this on your garment lable?
Could it be possible that the seller had machine washed it? Might be worth checking if their listing mentioned the care instructions, and if not, maybe ask how the top was washed?

It has gone, but if you are even vaguely familiar with the poster, you will know its not dissent but more vindictive.

ha ha ha, some one tipped me off about the "censorship" of my "views" of the way this board is run.

For the record, nothing i said in that post contradicted any mse rules as while critical of certain people i put my points accross rationally and calmly.

so anyway.....since despite the fact i havent the slightest clue who you are you appear to be claiming to be "familiar" with me and making a rather bold, and innacurate, cliam that i am being vindictive,, care to expand on that, or was it just a load of nonsense?
