Thanks showing after every post

Options
Sorry to start a new thread - I have done a search but nothing has come up.

Why have the forums changed to show full names of everyone who has thanked every post?

It takes up far too much room and prevents the reader from being able to skim quickly through the posts.

I hope it is a glitch, because as far as I am concerned, this renders MSE forums unusable.

Thanks

Nothing has changed for me. Are you using the new design or did you switch back to the stretchy width version we had previously?

    I'm back to stretchy btw.

It always showed the full names. Or do you mean you can see the full names without pressing 'Show me >>'?

I just get the 'Show me >>' button, both on the new version and in the 'new stretchy' version that I'm trying, and can only see the names if I click on it.

Had a big box underneath with the names - no "show me"
Now have the Show Me button back :T

What I'm seeing in old view is four rows for the thanks even if there's just one short user name listed:
The Following User | Bettie (Today)
    Says Thank You to |
    aliasojo For This Useful |

Always maximised to show the list. That's the footer I see for post #3 in this thread.
  • Thanks for your comments. This should now be resolved.
