Hi
I want to post an SOA on here before I fill in my BR forms, but need some help!
I am going BR and my OH is not.
When I do my SOA, I only earn about 240 a month, and my oh earns the main income, which covers all the household bills etc. He also has his own set of debts to pay/ travel to work expenses etc that are nothing to do with me, and I dont know what to put sown and what not to! obv I need to include my personal expenses as well as the household ones!
HELP!

You have to account for your partner's contribution towards total household expenses (not your own medical, haircuts, vehicle costs etc).
For instance, if your income is £240 pcm and your partner's £1300 pcm then your partner's percentage of the total household income is 84.416%.
So if total joint household expenditure is £850 per month then your partner's contribution at 84.416% would be £717.54.When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

My Income is a bit variable as I am self employed, £240 is an average. I only get paid every 3 months too!
The £1500 is my husbands contibution to our joint expenses.
I have to have a mobile phone and internet for work - I work alone in swimming pools with babies and I have to have a mobile in case there is an accident or something.
Internet I need as all the documents for the company I work for are stored online, and all communication with them is by email.
What do you think? These are honest figures I could reasonably live on.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Manoona an emergancy fund is now an acceptable expense as the IPA rules have been adjusted.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

You need to check whether phone and internet need to be deducted from your gross income as business expenses so not shown on your SoA. I am fairly sure they are.
That is the sort of figures you can look at, obviously if you use all of themthen that will take you over so I would not put down holiday.
Have a play with those and see where you get.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Ok, I have tweaked a few things, do you think this would be acceptable to the OR? are there any areas that need work?
Thanks in advance
