working for me now - FP worked OK last night0

I tried to register yesterday and I ended up on the Apache error half way through the process - will try again later, need to find out if something has been taken out!!!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

It does seem a lot of the problems are being caused by the high traffic going to the Tesco website. Similar to what happened when icesave went under.
I managed to register early yesterday before the traffic built up. For those having problems, registering and making transactions in the early hours is probably a solution, albeit not a great one if you like your sleep.
Seems clear that (during the quiet times) faster payments OUT is working but that the first payment out to a beneficiary is getting extra checks so might take 2 hours or so to happen. Faster payments IN seem to be working also.I came, I saw, I melted0 -
Tried yesterday no chance.
Just done it this morning worked fine - no problem. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Just tried logging in this morning using my 'existing customer number' and get taken to a page saying:
Register for online banking
Request your temporary PIN
In order to securely register you for online banking you’ll need to use a Temporary PIN. You can have it sent to you via mail. Once you have your Temporary PIN our online registration will only take a few minutes. Once you’re registered, you can check your balances, make payments and lots more.
Please call our online helpdesk team, you will find their number on our contact us page.
Presumably the waiting time to contact their helpdesk team is very long? This is starting to get annoying now.

Just been on and 'upgraded' my savings account. A whole raft of Flash (LSO) cookies created on my PC.0

During my failed online registration process, I clicked on a "more" link supposedly explaining the need for the mobile phone. This took me to a flash app in the current window (and out of the registration process). I'll be damned if I play Flash for nonsense. In fact, I was supecting them to plant LSOs (Flash cookies). Stuff that! (I block Flash.)
The contact phone numbers are 0845s, which would cost a fortune!
(0)1423 534 763 (online helpdesk) just plays a tape saying that they are upgrading systems over the weekend and they cannot help.
(0)141 308 8028 eventually got me though to an advisor, after having been on hold for 45 min! All he was able to do regarding registration was issuing a PIN by snail mail.
He was thankfully also able to action a Faster Payment. He could only acsess a subset (2) of the accounts I had set up, possibly ones that were originally set up when opening the account?Dagobert0 -
I had the same problem yesterday. I thought it was due to my registration process being interrupted. Once you get this message, the old credentials will not allow you to set up the new credentials anymore.(0)141 308 8028 eventually got me though to an advisor, after having been on hold for 45 min! Managed to update my login details yesterday. I have only the basic Saver Account at the moment for which I can make deposits/withdrawals in a Tesco store - think I'll stick to that for now
+ payments into above account from PayPal and Barclays are coming through OK.0 -
It seems that some people have been lucky to get access to the web site.
I have been trying since Monday (20 June) but as yet I havent managed to get on the site. There is no answer to the phone helpline.0
