:DYa – I won Artydolls Challenge, how fab is that!:D
It tops off a fantastic day. Went clothes shopping this morning and bought a top in Coast for £9 reduced from £40, managed to get a sledge for the kids in case it snows again this year. And then I came back to find that I had a delivery of 10 pink roses from M&S, that were sent as a thank you for all the handmade presents I gave one of my friends parents for Christmas. It was such a lovely thought for them to send them, but feel a tad guilty because the presents I made for them would not have cost me much to do just my time, I am just so glad they liked therr presents.
I’ll think of the next challenge and post it later. Artydoll – off to pm you my address
Dragonllew – I have one more wilkos to try tomorrow for the cello bags, so if I can’t find them i’ll take you up on your kind off to have a look in your store.
Ooh PepPop – could I have a blinking button please? (as long as you let me know how to get it on my blog).
Marg – sorry you are feeling a bit down – sending you big hugs :grouphug:
Viclspence – sorry to hear about your car – hope you are OK though, and the insurance gets sorted out with no hassle. Hope your OH manages to rescue your stash!2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

Ok the next MSE card challenge will be 'Say It With Flowers', since I got an unexpected bouquet today.
Your interpretation can be anything for the flower, as long there is a a flower of some sort on your card - it could be a flower coloured on an image, a paper one, a fabric one; punched one etc.
I'll send a little prize to the winner.
To enter just let me know on here either with a picture or link to your card and i'll start a list going.
Challenge open for two weeks so the challenge will close on 22nd January at midnight, and i'll get the kids to pick a winner.

evening everyone! sorry I've not been around for a while, I've had a pretty crappy start to the year and been so busy I just dont know where the time has gone! I have been trying to keep up with blog commenting though so hopefully you've seen me there
my mum broke her ankle between christmas and new year so I've been helping her out as much as I can, she fell down the stairs and dislocated and broke it in 3 places, she was in so much pain when they had to re-locate it, I was in there with her and she said she would rather have another baby! she might have to have an operation on it, they arent sure yet though, and she'll be in plaster for at least 8 weeks.
some of you know from facebook that I went for an interview last week, well I heard yesterday I didnt get it. I'm so gutted as I really really wanted it, it was at the place where I'm temping at the moment and I love working there so really wanted to stay. The reason they gave me as feedback why I didnt get it was that I came accross as nervous. well of course I was nervous, it's an interview!! so just trying to work out what to do next, my current temping position ends in a few weeks time so hopefully the agency can have something else lined up for me. I know my problems dont seem much compared to what some of you are going through though xx hopeing next week will be better and hugs to everyone, I am really going to try and keep up!!0 -

Have posted the results of my pop-up experiment! And a second post with todays makes on it. Feels nice to get back to non-Christmas crafting.
