My cupcake flannels were made up using the same method as on craftfairies homepage. They work well. And yes I do make all these bits to sell....I have 7 fairs from 4th nov to 4thdec!:eek:
My cookie cutters have those star sprinkles from sainsburys in them. Will have to look out for the purple choc discs there. thanks for that (i think it was flyingpig).
I have yet to make up my pints of socks...they were a best seller for me last year...costing £1.50 to make and charged £3.50 each ...the price of a pint was my speil.
Craftyfairies.... I think we all just want machines and are getting over excited with all the fab things we are seeing others making with them!!! I would love one but cannot justify the expense so just use my patterned scissors. and to cut circles I have a cutter compass so can do any size from 1cm -15cm diameter. No idea what there proper name is but just asked for them like that in the stationers and it was £3.99!!!!!:money:

some punches have gone out, some have arrived today which i am wrapping and adding chocs to now and some are due Mon and Tue, it depends when you ordered as i ordered them in batches of 5 in a first come first ordered type process!!
Some Catalogues arrived today and the rest are due monday so everything should be with you shortly ladies!!

Just thought I'd post up 4 more kitchen organisers I have made for christmas presents this year:

A couple more to go then they are all done. Love the different papers I have used, but found I am limited on the colour post-it notes I have found. Has anyone seen any cream or white ones on their travels?

Hey quick question

i saw a humbug box with humbug sweets saying bah humbug on it. Im sure it was on this thread or on someone's homepage?
Does anyone know as i cant find it.
Also does anyone have a pattern for the box to do by hand as i dont have a lovely fancy machine!?!

They are lovely only seen yellow post its but will keep my eyes peeled for you.

'twas my humbug box ..... and it is very fortuitous that I had a ready prepared tutorial on my homepage ..... ........ (we bloggers have to be very careful not to infringe any MSE rules and are not allowed to link directly to our blogs) so I'll transfer it to here

It's quite simple to make, no fancy materials needed - just some brown paper, a brown felt pen and double sided tape - plus some humbugs - Martin would be proud!!!!

Cut a piece of light brown paper/light card 27 cm x 18 cm and draw lines with a thick brown felt tip pen - that will give the stripey humbug effect when the box is finished.

Turn the card/paper over and put a line of double sided tape (or glue) along one long and one short edge

With striped side facing up roll the paper/card to make a cylinder

And then flatten the bottom end.(see below)

To complete the carton/bag squeeze it together in the opposite direction to the bottom of the bag (I hope that makes sense) to form a triangular shape.

Now, is the time to fill your bag with humbugs.

When bag is filled, glue the two sides together and hold in place with a few clips until well stuck.

All that’s left to do now is decorate it with a tag or label. I’ve just done a bit of mat and layering, with my own handwriting and sprig of holly.

You could put sweets, toys and a motto/joke and make these in Christmassy colours as an alternative to crackers or as a different sort of goodie bag for children’s parties.

im also going to have a go at the humbug bag aswell,was on my to do list but i feel totally exhausted,havn't stopped all week trying to get all my bits done

dont want to fall behind on posts either so will most definetly have to log on here whilst at my parents
