For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.
  • Yes i did :) I love them! Just waiting to get some new fragrances then can try a couple of differant colours :)

Seths gram I wasn't complaining about the size of the pics hun, just I'm bone idle & it meant my having to scroll page right to read the board. Hope you understood it was tongu in cheek.
So have our SU punches already arrived or was todays arrivals a previous order?
Loving all the makes today, very inspiational pat on the back to you all.
I am off to craft in front of the tv now but hope to get making board stuff from here in the half term.

Oops spent more money today :o
My paper strimmer died and I can't cut square by hand to save my life so I bought a guilotine (sp?) from Hobbcraft. OK I probably paid slightly over the odds but TBH I don't have time to hang around as not having that to cut paper with is stopping me having a go at other types of cards. Also bought a square scalloped punch and a Xmas tree punch.
Might go and have a play in a mo seeing as how I am child free and husband free tonight......feel like a part of me is missing TBH!!! Don't know what to do with myself without feeling guilty for having other things to do :o;)

Well done on all the new pics and projects :D All looking fabulous I must say.

Thought I'd share an idea I had/did last year. Its based around the American puppy/reindeer chow, but i adapted it to Elf treats!

Its basically cheerios, honey waffles cereal, rice krispies, pretzel sticks (broken in half) choc chips or cooking chocolate, marshmallows

mix the dry ingredients together, melt the choc and the marshmallows and pour over cereal mix, mix it all together and spread onto a baking sheet and allow to set, when its set, break it up and put a few pieces in a bag. I did sprinkle over edible glitter to give it a bit of sparkle, it is christmas after all, but you dont have too.

I also adapted a poem to go with it.

Santa’s elves work through the night
They work up quite an appetite
But Mrs. Claus knows what to do
To feed the busy working crew
She mixes up their magic treat
A secret the elves promise to keep

    With something salty, something sweet
It’s the elves favourite Christmas treat
Back in her kitchen at the pole
She heaps it high in every bowl
    To welcome her hardworking crew
So here’s a special batch that’s just for you

I cant find the pictures from last year so when i make another batch up I'll post some.

Also last year, I bought a cheap cat food bowl from Wilkinson's about 59p and and let the boys decorate it with stickers and foam letters, we then put our magic reindeer food in that to leave out for Reindeer, when they had gone to bed, we simply disposed of it, was thinking of doing the same again this year but maybe leave one of the reindeer's "name tag's" in the bowl as a sort of souvenir
