Lol - that just sounds funny :D don't know why, going a bit mental me thinks :p Plenty of other stuff for you in that range, though thay are all kinda fruity/nutty

I didn't write that very well did I:D Don't really like the smell of almonds:rotfl: I'm not even sure if I will get a voucher for the soap from the ACM so all this wondering what to get will probably be for nothing:rotfl:

Oooooh, can't wait to try the soap/body wash glitch, I LOVE almond-y smelling things :D(has anyone else tried the new Fairy Almond washing up liquid? It smells fabulous, almost makes washing up more pleasurable ;) )

I'm not impressed with the new till spit either :( Can't see many bargains to be had with that.
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

    :rotfl: its OK I think I'll survive!:rotfl:

I am just back from a terrible time in my local Boots. I tried to get the foundation on 342 with the free concealers. At the normal till the SA said it wouldnt go through, so she called the No. 7 SA. She told me she would try another way, and I paid 2650 points. Left the shop, walked around for about 15 mins, then remembered I hadnt got the coupons from the ACM. The sa saw me, called me back to the No. 7 counter, said would I speak to the manager. I said ofcourse. The manager said it clearly says on the sign only 1 per person, and took back my goodies. I felt as if they treated me like a shoplifter, and was upset by the whole thing. I feel like I dont want to ever go into that store again. I came back and ordered it online, no problems, didnt order the concealers, 3 just showed up free. So had to pay £26.50 plus £2.95 delivery, where as I wanted to pay with my points.

I cannot believe what they did to you, that is terrible. They should have just accepted it and moved on. But to single you out that way is appalling. I hope you will contact customer services to let them know. You paid for your goods and they approved them. I can't find the words to say how angry I feel on your behalf.

It is management that is in the wrong here and not you. You need to be able to go back in that store without feeling uncomfortable in the future. I am pleased that you managed to order online, but they should not be able to do this in such a humiliating way.

I once made a complaint about the manager of a store, but I did it in letter form, and sent it to head office. The reply came from customer service however, but I felt it got more attention than an email. Good luck. x:heart:

Has anyone worked out the best deal for the £2 cosmetics spit yet .. or isn't their one? Just wondering whether to stockpile them in case we get another glitch like the hair ones at the moment.!

It's hardly cheap, but I've decided how I'm going to use mine.

The Ruby and Millie eye compacts are £5 each and at the moment you get a free lip kit worth £12 with 2 Ruby and Millie purchases.

So for £8, you could get 2 of the compacts plus the lip kits. Like I said, hardly a cheap glitch, but nice if you've gor pressies to buy or if you want to treat yourself.
  • hi im new to boots so could anyone tell what the nail kits look like thanks....i never noticed any at my local telford store
