    Hi Jocket

I'd go for the London Road one. It's in an older building with nice real fires etc.
The other one is a bit more of a 'business lunch' type of place with not so much atmosphere

thanks thats what i was looking for.. thought that sounded like the case

    much appreciated

if you mean the fountain harvester, think thats the london road one, its round the corner from us so we have been a few times, and found it fine- it has recently been nicely refurbished according to my husband who was there last week for a drink.

The one in London Rd, Loughton is my local. It's fine - you get exactly what you expect - my daughter (13) loves it !

It has recently been refurbished and is also under new management.
  • Hello lovely local people.

Our house is falling apart since we've had the baby and so I'm looking for a local reliable odd-job-man who can help with a bit of decorating, repairing in both our house and garden.

Can anyone recommend somebody they've used?

    Many thanks

One of the jobs is to repaint/repair the chicken house, so hope he doesn't mind chicken running round his feet when he works :rotfl:

It is my daughters 5th birthday party at the end of this month and we are trying to find somehwere to hold her party. We had a hall with an entertainer, etc last year which was great - but would like them to just go somewhere where is is all included like Gambado for example. Does anybody have any other suggestions? All gratefully received?

    Thanks

Went to above for a fire engine party which was fun but as you can see from the link they do other themes..

Last year we hired Middleton Pool Newport Pagnell, just over £100 for 1 hour private pool hire, then 1 hour bouncy castle / outside play time you bring your own food. This price included lifeguards and inflatables - it was absolutely excellent ..
